Osteopathic Physicians
Duties and responsibilities:
osteopathic physicians are in charge of diagnosing and treating
injuries and diseases. They emphasize the importance of the musculoskeletal
system, holistic medicine, proper nutrition, and environmental factors in
keeping a good health. Most osteopathic physicians work as general
practitioners, family practitioners, or emergency medicine specialists.
Average salary: $110,000
Educational requirements:
students should take the most challenging high school courses
in science, math, and English. After three to four years of college,
undergraduate requirements include one year of organic chemistry, one year of
biology, and one year of physics.
Reflection:
I honestly wouldn’t mind studying to become an Osteopathic
physician because it sounds like an interesting job. And second, you’d see
something different every day.
