Pharmacist


Duties and responsibilities:

Pharmacists are in charge of preparing prescriptions for patients written by their physician, dentists, and other practitioners. They are in charge of weighing, measuring, and mixing drugs. They answer patient’s questions over any drugs. They work in hospitals, clinics, health departments, universities, grocery, drug and discount stores.

Average salary: $33,000 - $51,000

Educational requirements:

Students should take the most challenging courses in English, science, and math throughout their high school years. They must graduate from a college university, and it is required to take the Pharmacy College Admissions Test. It usually takes at least five years to earn a pharmacy Degree, and to earn a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, Phar.D., it requires at least six years.  


Reflection: I honestly wouldn’t mind becoming a pharmacist, because it seems like a pretty interesting job. (;
