(Ultrasound Technician)
Duties and responsibilities:
Sonographers operate special Imaging equipment to create
images and conduct tests. Some assist physicians and surgeons during surgical
procedures. They prepare patients for procedures by taking a patients history and
answering questions. They operate equipment to obtain diagnostic images or
conduct tests, they analyze the images or test results to check for quality,
and they record findings and keep track of patients’ records.
Salary: average of $60,350 per year.
