Duties and Responsibilities:
an Industrial hygienist
evaluates health hazards, they conduct health risk assessments, they’re in
charge of industrial or business health programs, and they provide
consultations. They usually collect and perform lab analyses, they also check
work exposure over radiation, vibrations, and noises. They calibrate equipment,
investigate health hazards, and conduct researches.
Salary: $40,000
- $60,000
Education:
Students should always take the most challenging college
prep courses, they should also take the most challenging courses in mathematics
and science during high school.
It is required to at least have a Bachelor’s degree in
occupational health and safety, environmental health engineering, or in
physical science. Most jobs require a Master’s degree.
