Student Success Statement

“Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence..

TALENT will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent

GENIUS will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb.

EDUCATION will not; the world is full of educated derelicts.

Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan ‘Press On’ has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.”

President Calvin Coolidge

Reflection: from my point of view I believe that this quote is trying to tell and explain to us that in order to reach success, failure will always be a part of your journey. But Each and every time you fail, never give up, stand up and try harder. Go farther than you could have ever imagined. For example being the least smart person in your math class, every time you fail you try harder, you study each and every chance you get, go over through your entire lesson. Ask the teacher for help, or attend tutoring. Then watch yourself reach higher than expectations. ;)

Student Success Statement

“Persistence can change failure into extraordinary achievement.”

Matt Biondi (the qt)

Reflection: what I believe this statement means is that being intelligent enough to do what is right at all times, to go beyond expectations, to achieve more than wanted, to do better in all, is all you really need in order to go from failure to achieving what you want. Because nothing is impossible if you set your mind straight to it.

Student Success Statement

“Never look to the ground for your next step. Greatness belongs to those who look to the horizon.”

Bud Greenspan

Reflection: what I b
elieve this quote means is that in order to reach your goals and reach higher, you always aim for more and better. And by that you never lower yourself, always do better than expected. And show others you can achieve anything you set your mind to, because your mind is powerful enough to accomplish anything it wants.
