Reflection: what I believe this quote means, well from my point of view is that when you go to bed early and wake up early you have a bigger advantage of spending the day at a fuller angle.  


Oriental Medicine Doctor

Duties and responsibilities: 

Oriental Medicine Doctors are in charge of treating the entire individual rather than the specific illness or condition. They take into account a patient’s physical, mental , and emotional condition in order to determine the proper course of treatment. They help their patients achieve balance and wellness in their everyday lives.

Salary: $75,000 - $80,000

Education:


 Most states have licensing or continuing education requirements. Most Oriental Medicine Doctors hold a master’s degree or post-baccalaureate certificates.

Heart Health Tips

1. food - try to keep a healthy diet. Eat fruits and vegetables to get fiber. Limit your sodium. Limit total fat.

2.  Avoid smoking – can damage blood vessels.

3. Keep an active life style – finding something to keep you active for 
a minimum of 30 minutes a day.

4. maintain a healthy body weight – protein control is key

5. Reduce your stress – external stress can cause internal stress.



I myself is no where near being in condition, I need to start keeping a healthy diet, and exercise daily for a minimum of an hour. I need to limit myself with the amount of sodium and fat i consume, and I need to reduce the amount of stress I carry, and stop worrying about not just myself but the people around me.

 Reflection: having your health is more than anything, being healthy is more than just valuable. Being healthy is something you should never take for granted. 



Sports Medicine Doctor


Duties and responsibilities:

A sports medicine doctor is in charge of working with athletic teams and in private physicians’ offices, they work in fitness centers, hospitals, and clinics. They treat patients in a hospital or clinic, they may also work for professional or college sports teams, traveling with the players and enjoying games from the sidelines. They prevent, diagnose, and treat injuries from athletic activities. They generally focus on joint, bone, and muscle health.

Salary:

The average annual salary for sports medicine doctors is about $280,000. Sports medicine doctors with more experience and their own practices can earn more than $350,000.

Education:


A bachelor’s degree is required to be completed, followed by a pre-med concentration that gives them a solid foundation in biology, chemistry, and physics. Students are required to pass the medical college admission test (MCAT) in order to get accepted into medical school. 

reflection: i honestly would not mind becoming a sports medicine doctor because i love sports. i enjoy watching the games, but the all time favorite is Basketball. ;)
