responsibilities:
Nuclear
Medicine Technologists prepare and administrate radiopharmaceuticals to detect
and treat a disease. They make images to help diagnose the illness. They also
explain the medicine to the patients, and administer radioactive doses either
given by mouth or by injections. And they inform the dangers of radiation, and
its causes.
Average Salary: $28,000 - $42,000
Educational
Requirements:
Training programs
vary from one year to four years. Almost all states require licensing, and
technologists must meet federal standards.
