Occupational Therapist

Duties and Responsibilities:

Occupational therapists help patients that are mentally, emotionally, or physically disabled. They work close with patients to observe them, and help them.

Average salary: 

$12,000 - $15,000 (Occupational therapy Aides)

$17,000 - $26,000 (Occupational therapy Assistants­)

Educational requirements:

Occupational therapists must have a high school diploma or a GED certificate. They get trained while they are on the job. They must complete a two year training program and pass a national exam.

Reflection: I would not like to be an occupational therapist because I honestly have no type of patience for this.

I have made some progress in reaching some of my goals because Im trying my best to get to class on time, and not miss any school day. I want to accomplish coming to school every day which probably won’t happen but I shall try.

Nursing Home Administrator

Duties and responsibilities:

Nursing home Administrator are in charge of planning and directing operations in nursing homes and care facilities. Most work in nursing homes and others work for large corporations that are in control of many facilities. Others are in charge of teaching and researching.

Average salary: $40.000 - $55,000

Educational requirements:

Should take courses in business, science, math, and English throughout their high school years. Most states require to have a bachelor’s degree, complete an additional internship program, and pass a comprehensive exam.

Reflection: I honestly wouldn’t like to be a nursing home administrator because I’d feel like a bird in a small cage..

Pyramid Healing

I believe pyramid healing is just a belief of one’s own self. And there’s no need to get a healing permit to follow this, so therefore there’s no need to attend colleges or get studies to do pyramid healing. Everyone has the right to believe in what they want. 

reflection: i believe i have gotten closer to reaching one of my goals is because i have almost finished my freshman year, and in a blink of an eye i will be a senior and about to graduate from high school. About to attend college. (;
